Overmoulding

Valukumpu Oy has a long term experience from joining plastic and metal in fully automated overmoulding process.

This process is used for combinations where blank, stamped metal stripe is guided trough injection moulding tool and overmoulded partially with plastic.

Typical overmoulding applications are different type of electromechanical connectors. This method is very precise and cost efficient compared to manual assembling.
